About the event
FREE special event at the Adam Smith Heritage Centre coinciding with the Doors Open Day event on 14th September! The Art Trail— is a creative adventure designed for curious minds and budding artists alike.
We have two Art Trails to choose from: at 10am & 2pm
All suitable for ages 6+
What to Expect:
We'll start and finish at Adam Smith's home which gives us the focus for our tour.
Each participant will receive a special booklet to fill with their own work. We'll move between sites of particular historical interest, filling them up with creative ideas! Join in as we shop in an eighteenth-century market, choose clothes for Sunday best, chat with young Adam Smith in the Burgh school playground and smell the scents of the kitchen garden. The tours will last around an hour and everyone will come away with their very own mini Kirkcaldy history book! All materials will be provided.
Spaces are limited to just 8 participants per trail, so be sure to sign up soon!
We can’t wait to see you there and explore the rich history of Kirkcaldy through fun, creativity, and discovery.
